DESCRIPTION:The “must see” Homegrown Film Festival is back for its 7th year featuring women athletes such as McKenna Peterson and Lexi duPont who started Sister Summit! All proceeds to benefit the Friends of Sawtooth Avalanche which provides financial support for extra forecasters.\nHomegrown Film Festival is a celebration of the cinematic and athletic achievement of people who call this place home. The festival showcases the work of our celebrities and professionals, while also giving a platform to local youth and up-and-comers – and it does so in support of our local avalanche center. It gives local rippers a moment to rub shoulders with the pros, high-end brands a space to see the next generation of talent, and the town a chance to celebrate how a place so small can create a mark so big.\nMountain towns are dense hub of talent, but too often our athletes and production teams find themselves scattered about the mountains and the globe, disconnected from the community.
